Trout need water, do you know where to find any? I com only imagine how some of the reservoirs are going to look this summer. I want to try hell hole, pardee is known for the Donaldson trout. I'm up for some fishing!

been to bullards bar twice since this post and caught a bunch of bass. there in prespawn, spawn and post spawn. heading back up for 4 days starting monday the 9th of june.  ill be in the group campsites.  the only bummer is that the water is far away from the campsites. they do have 2 launch ramps but the is a little hike from the parking area. i was  thinking of renting a slip for a few days so i dont have to pull the boat in and out every day.  i really like this lake. i might buy a houseboat there next year.  this isnt a lake for bank fishing unless your a mountain goat. you really need a boat to enjoy the lake.

Remember Jacob?  He was on the old site and had a green YJ, lived in Stockton...

Anyhow, he used to go up to Caples all the time and raved about how many fish he caught.

Swing by sometime on the way to Bullards, I've got electricity questions for a new shop that we're gonna be building.  Probably not enough work involved to make it worth your drive, but you could have it if you want it.  Otherwise just looking for suggestions.

Nope not yet.  I'm working with the bank at the moment then gotta get permits etc.  Assuming the County goes for my plan I'll be doing a 3 bay 30'x60' shop with a lift etc.....  Apparently the wife loves me.  :high5:

so whats the cost to do what  you have planned.  r u going with a stick frame or metal building?  dam slab is pricey by it self.  i really want to do it as well but not sure how many years i want to keep wrenching.   im leaning towards a big houseboat on bulladrs bar or orville

I looked into the more industrial red iron I-beam type buildings, those are super nice but 36K for the building and concrete only for a 30'x40'.  I looked into Versa Tube and I can get the 30'x60' building for right at 12, but have to build it myself.  Concrete is roughly 16k for that size, that's crazy expensive but gotta do it.

I've got to get someplace for all my projects...... besides the Jeep.  I've got a '66 Chevy truck and a '74 Duster sitting next to the garage and a '63 Nova in it with no room to work.

What about a pole barn building?   Also a family friend went the versa tube route. In the end he wishes he went red iron. Just took too long to get up.   But maybe that was just him, idk?

I'd prefer to go that route too, just don't know if I can justify the additional 10K + for 600 sq ft less space.

I don't know what this has to do with fishing, but wouldn't it be cheaper to find a building already built?

Getting it to the back yard would be a major pain.

What kinda pole did you get Bob?
