Mini boatside sliders.

Picked up two prices of 3/16 steel. 13X62

Making some mini boatside rocker guards.
Still need to do some cutting and then weld/sand.  Got one side done

what a day.

Im so tired and only got one side down.  I may be rolling with one for a while unless i sack up and just power through it.

let me tell you it was a pain welding these up.  I did it in about 12 passes per edge so 24 total.  I did get a chance to get some good practice in though..

Here is the results and final pics!

Best i could do with flux core action

Bleh that took forever

And here we go all sanded nice and smooth

And the final look!

Made some tube fenders today.  Pretty simple but still took a while to get the cuts done.  They are not finished.  The side and the top will be skinned with 3/16 and welded and blended in to look like a solid peice.

I wanted to keep the inner fender so i did them this way.

More fender work.

got the side plates welded in.  Had a bad headache so only got that far just sitting inside on the couch now veggin out.

Built a roof rack.  Its light enough i can leave it on and use it to keep the sun off me.  probably only weighs 30-40lbs.

was working on my sons power wheel today.  Harbor freight 13in wheels and tires.

Stock motor setup 12v.

He is only 2 so i had to hold back on all the cool stuff.  Should work good now for a while till he needs some more umph.  But if he was like me when i was young its not that far off

Bunch of pallet jacks at work got new poly wheels so i snagged a few of the metal ones to use as the spindles.  I overbuilt the steering with the idea that i could use it later for a faster project, and not have to worry about it.

It will be getting a full rear frame eventually.  this was basically just to get the steering better.  I just used some spacers and attached it simularly to the stock setup for now.

Bring it by whenever and i will do work.  I found this one like a year and a half ago when they do those curbside junk things.  Threw it in the back of my blazer went to work.  Finally got around to fixing it since my kid is old enough now.  It just needed some mods to the gearbox and a burnt wire fixed at it was ready to roll.  I just went a little overboard from there.
