« on: June 15, 2014, 09:40:56 PM »

USED A.R.B. D-30 AIR LOCKER ON E-BAY HAD 4.56 GEARS IN IT.  DOES ANYONE KNOW IF IT WILL WORK FOR A HP D-30?

Why all CAPS? Are you angry?
I don't think the ARB is different for 4.56 to 4.10. I'm not sure, but I also don't think that matters if it's HP or LP. What is it coning out of?

Dana 30 low pinion and high pinion use the same arb.   Arb makes 3 dana 30 carriers.  One for 3.54 down, one for 3.54 up, and one for 30 spline axles for people that enjoy wasting money.

This.  As long as it's not a 30 spline, and will work for your gearing, you're good to go.

Assuming it's the one in Pahrump Nevada that's a good deal if you can keep it low.  I'd ask him if he's got the part number just to be sure.  You should need a RD100 based on your profile info.
