does anyone have a bearing press
« on: August 21, 2015, 04:00:56 PM »

Does anyone have a bearing press available.  Yes I know there are other ways to accomplish, but I'm curious if anyone has the "right" tools to remove and replace rear axle bearing, bearing retainer ring etc..

Thanks much,

Press or puller, sounds like you need the puller and the bearing driver? Autozone loaner?

I'd take it to 4 wheel parts and make them fix it.

if its a straight axle just pull the shafts and carrier then use a bar and hammer to pound them out.
that's what I did.
to install I just used the old bearing to hammer the new one in place. easy peesy.
