Back from Vacation and so sad to have missed this trip... Hope there is something else planned soon.

Hope all made it back safe and enjoyed their time together!!!

There's the Rubicon Ramblers trip the weekend after Labor Day.

I'm not planning anything before that. But if someone wants plan one, go for it.

Ahh no excuses.  The right side line there is totally doable on full widths.  That was one of my favorite spots with my jeep on 37s

Really?  Looked way too narrow.  I'll try to squeeze through there next time.

I have video. I've have to edit it first.

Interesting story.

I was talking to Johnny today. It turns out that Saturday night we were visited by a bear at WWS Campground. I took off rather early in the morning Sunday, along with Dan. It wasn't until later that Johnny and Marc noticed that their cooler had big teeth/claw marks in it, and their food was missing. It may be because there wasn't many people there, but we will need to be more attentive with our food from now on.

They're not getting my food again. I leave my cooler unlatched so they can grab a water without destroying my cooler. I have one of these inside for my cold stuff and one outside for my dry goods.

I don't ever remember hearing a Black Bear attacking a human, unless there was a cub involved.

Johnny said he woke up hearing the noise, but thought it was you rummaging around in your Jeep. :hahaha:

That's all well and good, but not every one eats the same bird food you eat!

Yeah that may be true. Yogart, pb&j, strombolie. Milk, creamer, coffee, pudding, trail mix, cheese and crackers, room to spare. I ate well enough. No need to be a pig when I'm trying to remain 170 lbs.

I think I was 170 at one time... maybe Jr. high.

I did just hike about 5-6 miles a couple days ago while camping up at Edison lake. Walked up the old Jeep road, now wilderness trail, on the way to Devils bathtub (lake) and Graveyard meadows. With a bum knee included, I actually didn't stroke out!
Checked out the old 'rock pile' as everyone called it. Hav'nt been there in 40 years! Back in the 70's we all thought it was sooooo hard. Lol. But that was back in the days of 33's max and open diffs and 30 lbs of air in the tires!  :hahaha: Seeing it now days I think it would be cake in 2WD low range!  Ah... the 'good 'ol days'!

Well It took me a long time to get this video out. Mostly software problems so don't ask.

But here is the swimming and cliff diving video from Spider Lake.

I really felt like that was a lot higher than it really was. I would have done something cooler if I knew how it looked on camera. Pack your rigs, were going for a take two.😆
