I think Robert may be interested.  I sent him a text this morning so we'll see.

Haha! Yeah, that's who I meant.

Yep, thought for sure he was gong to roll it. We were only 100 yds in. We retreated to an easier trail for about an hour then they settled their nerves at the Virginia City Brewery. I just went home as I don't drink.

Yep. Meet at 9 in Nevada City.

It looks like light rain and snow.

It says 1-3 inches snow, that doesn't sound too bad to me.

So Sunday morning at 9am at:

Gold Flat Express Lube & Car Wash
421 Hollow Way, Nevada City, CA 95959

Which also has gas and a Port-O-Subs in the station. And they make some good sandwiches.

Where do you go from there? Is it necessary to go into Nevada City or is there an alternative place for me to meet the goup?

You're not getting to N. Bloomfield Rd. without going to Nevada City.  There's no need to go into downtown, exit at Gold Flat Rd, go right and immediately left onto Hollow Way and the gas station is about 1/4 mile down on the right.

Robert and I are still in and I've got a rider.  Sean told some other people on a facebook group where we were meeting up so we could have others show up but I don't know.

I'll have a rider also.

Jason, It's pretty easy to get to where we meet. Your Exit is 185A, Gold Flat Rd, Ridge Rd. Make a Right at the stop sign, then a real quick left. You'll be on the frontage road and it'll be on your right.

So I locked this thread since the trip is over. I may open it up again, since winter isn't over yet. Let me know if someone wants to plan another trip.

Sean I started a trip report with your last post.
