But need to build some shock mounts for my front end since the cj7 original wont work, does anyone by chance have a tube bender that i could come over and use in a week or 2? :2thumbsup:

I Need to make something like these:

call up steve or Jeff at Golden State motorsports they can bend you up some tube. I have a bender but its the cheap one from HF and its not the best by any means.

Genright makes good stuff, but they are very expensive. Made in the USA though.

Have you looked at the shock hoops they have over at WFO?  They've got a 12" and a 14" hoop, I think $50 for the set.  I got the 12's and had to mount them low and the frame rail, 14's mounted closer to the top may work, especially if you're going through the inner fender area anyway.  Here's mine.....

I may check some of those then, thank you. And I have seen people do it without going through fender well.

Yeah, I just didn't know how far in you were going.  The 12's were as tall as I could go obviously without cutting out the inner.  I think they're made by Trail Gear (they make a lot of Toyota stuff), nearly every Toyota I wheeled with at Cow Mountain had the same hoops.

BTW, I was down in you neck of the woods today.  Let me know when you're off and I'll come down and get that rack.
